Every Clocka Design object takes shape through materials selected to enhance its details and is crafted in small series using 3D printing.

Material, light and surface
PLA Silk+
Silk+ finishes enhance reflections across the surfaces and create an elegant contrast between metallic elements, hulls and dark bases.
Transparent PLA+
Transparent PLA+ allows light to pass through the object. In City of Glass it supports the jade effect and the impression of a suspended skyline.
Process
From material to object
Each piece is produced using high-precision 3D printing, then individually finished and inspected before dispatch. The time-lapse shows the object being built progressively, layer by layer. The video is accelerated: actual printing time ranges from 6 to 9 hours, depending on the configuration and the presence of brackets or pedestals. Small variations are consistent with the nature of the process.
